FightFit Boxing is a structured boxing performance system developed by Stone Training. The focus of FightFit is not limited to one style, however follows a general guideline of primarily Western Boxing and utilsatation of MMA. Those trained in the FightFit levels do so for personal fitness development rather than to enter the ring in organised competition, thus the method is applicable to all levels of fitness.
The purpose of the FightFit method is to bridge the gap between boxing and boxing fitness, teaching practical boxing skills in combination with fitness training, to ultimately gain the full benefits of combat training.
The mission of FightFit is for no program to be endless without progression, as all programs are driven towards civilians reaching that next level. Without a driven purpose goals in fitness training are generalised. FightFit takes a combat approach to fitness training.
FightFit is taking the training methods used in combat sport (boxing, Muay Thai and MMA) and tactical conditioning (military, law enforcement and security) and utilising them in a fitness training format. Program includes fitness based defensive drills, however all remaining within the guidelines of fitness training. All boxers must wear a minimum of 10 ounce gloves.
