Red Strike
Strike level is signified by the powerful colour of red. Strike has a mandate to apply entry level practical boxing and combat skills as a form of fitness training. Through all training a plan of increasing levels of work must be applied as a focus is placed on progression. Individuals of any level of fitness can participate at strike level.
Key elements of Strike training:
- Jab (lead left hand for orthodox) is the foundation
- Hands held high at all times
- Pivoting of feet
- Defence in duck and parry
- Building to high volume of punches in fitness drills
- Introductory Muay Thai fitness
Gold Attack
Attack level is signified by the achievement colour of gold. Attack has an increased and elite level of fitness, with the introduction of tactical conditioning (military, law enforcement and security agencies). Advanced boxing combinations and exercises are executed. The engrained combinations of Strike level are included into conditioning exercises, to inturn deliver greater outcomes.
Key elements of Attack training:
- Capitalisation of elements from Strike into conditioning exercises
- Tactical conditioning
- Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) conditioning
- Elite level volume of punches in fitness drills
- Timed round partner work
Black Titan
Titan level of STI Boxing is seen as the ultimate level of boxing and combat conditioning. An ultimate level will require a bullet proof shield of resistance with no challenge being too great. Titan level is philosophical, with individual knowing inside when they have reached this level of ultimate fitness; from both a physical and psychological standpoint. All participants must strive to take their training to the next level, and ultimately unleash the TITAN within.
