After some eight months in 2006 with another personal trainer, I started to work with Gavin Stone in 2007. The difference was amazing! Gavin is a most serious personal trainer, who portrays to the client that this is the single most important part of his life. Because of Gavin's commitment to helping me I have increased my sessions from 2 to 3 each week - if I had the time I would do more.
Every session is thoroughly prepared and balanced. Every week the sessions are balanced ensuring that I am getting training across the various aspects. He motivates and encourages, but is never condescending. Gavin pushes and extends, but never allows you to cross the line of being dangerous to health. But it's not only about the physical as Gavin is inspiring in other aspects of your life. In a subtle way, he leads by example, and you feel that you don't want to let yourself, or Gavin down.
Gavin's knowledge is impressive, and is continually growing. His avid interest in his profession is seen by the constant reading and the studying that he does.
Gavin is a true professional, with the client's interest as being paramount.

Gavin is an outstanding personal trainer. I have had others train me, but Gavin exceeds them in each and every way. Gavin plans every session. His determination to help me reach my fitness goals drives me to work harder. Gavin also explains what we are doing, why and the subsequent effect of that on my body, which gives me complete confidence in his knowledge of exercise technique and theory, as well as human physiology and nutrition. I have increased my sessions with Gavin from one to two sessions per week because he motivates me so much - and more than any other trainer has. I leave our sessions exhausted but also delighted at what we have collectively achieved.
I value the hard work and effort that Gavin puts into to achieve success -his and mine.

Gavin is a true professional in his field. His training style has improved both our fitness and well being. He understands our needs and listens, offering fantastic advice and motivation. Gavin’s commitment to results are obvious by his tailored training programs, which he changes each week for us and his leadership skills. The goals/challenges that he sets for us are achievable, but at the same time require the effort to make it happen. I started training with Gavin because my partner was already training with him. Due to a recurring prostate cancer problem resulting in the need to have radiation treatment I wanted to increase my physical fitness, before and during the treatment. Gavin has proven himself to be a highly motivated and very professional trainer. He demonstrates a full understanding of the training and planning needs of the older people. During the session Gavin has encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone, and has shown me that I can do much more than I imagined. This has been a great psychological boost, as well as a physical one. During my treatment he has tailored my sessions to take into account the treatment side effects (the continuation of my training during treatment has been approved by my specialist).
I am impressed by Gavin's energy and enthusiasm, which never seems to wane from one session to the next. He is a young man who deserves to do well, as he is really a cut above the rest!
